i7 is not cheap..
The "cheapest" i7 worth a shit is $580 on newegg..

after i move back to CA, im going to start saving and selling shit to build a new rig too. I cant wait, i want to play new games.

you can OC an intel i7 920 to 3.3 with just air cooling. i was gonna go with the nahalem which is the $289 one.  i think i am gonna wait a couple months till they start putting the 35mm chip in them. they are running 45mm now.

should i get a really nice gfx caard or just get like two 8800's and do sli?

I have an 8800GT , stay the fuck away from 8800*** cards..

I can overclock my E8400 to 4.1 with air but I'm lazy
I would at least get a 260 or something from ATI 4890..
All I know it do not get a 9800 or 8800..
