If you have big hands, like my fat ass, I cannot recommend enough the Razaer DeathAdder.
It's a USB gaming mouse.

I got mine when it was an $80 mouse, you can find it now for about 46-50ish.

Add that with the Razer Exactmat with Wrist pad and you're good to go.

good job vamp, can't expect J to do that...lazy mexican

looks cool thats for sure...what is the wrist pad on the mouse pad for exactly (i know...the wrist)...but seriously, i don't know if i would like that.  when i use my mouse, usually my wrist hangs off the end of the mouse pad and rests lightly on the desk (my mouse stays pretty close to the bottom edge of the mouse pad).  i feel like if i had something under my wrist it would put my hand at an odd angle on the mouse...probably just b/c i'm so used to how i'm positioned now though.

The mouse has 2 extra buttons, that's it.
So,
left, right, push mouse wheel, 2 thumb buttons.
If your hands are not large, get a copper head.
7 buttons and very nice.
I had one but it was too small :|

The Copperhead comes in few colors too.

I use the mouse pad as my hand goes numb it I set my hand on my desk.
Carpel tunnel SUCKS.

You could also just the get the exact mat or a Pro Pad.
I do not like "soft" mouse pads anymore.

Here are links and picks!

=/  Guess that's why my Copperhead keeps fuckin up.  Like...the cursor movement isn't smooth.  Gotta spend money on a fkn pad and I HATE mousepads.

It can get worse :|

My arm goes fucking numb most of the time when I do not have a pad i.e. work..
The only thing I hate about it is the SIZE, it's fucking massive.
I use maybe 1/4 of the pad.

I used to hate it too but, the a metal one.
The cloth ones BLOW.
I love my aluminum pad:)

It's pretty...and perfect if you like buttons.

I only use the left, right, and DPI clickers.

I think they should bring back the ball-mouse.  Requires less wrist motion. :D

ppppffftttt N00b, they need to bring back that TRACKBALL.

I still have it, but the left mouse button is broke....

I played CSS with that thing for a year.. and CS for awhile with it....

Wonder how well I could do with it now..
