Well A lot of people have been asking about the map and such so I took some screen shots of what it looks like in the editor.  I'm Compiling it as I typoe this actually to get some preliminary looks at the latest in the lighting and such I'll post some screenies of the full game render when it finishes

Heres a side view, I haven't added in Bombsite B yet which is gonna be a barge on the lower right in the water which is right underneath CT spawn.  T's are to the left, obviously.

ok...now what I've found out once again is why this type of map is not all that common.  The Vvis and Vrad which compile the way light bounces off of surfaces and how the player views them does not like a lot of open space.  Theoretically the way my map was designed is able to be compiled just fine, however it would take probably no less than a small room full of dedicated proccessors to handle the detail that i put into it in even a days span.  So I woke up early this morning kicked myself for making such a complicated map as my debut with you guys and redesigned the area surrounding the bridge again.  I'll keep my fingers crossed and see how it comes out at lunch today.

In the meantime if anyone has any ideas for maps let me know and I'll work on them.  The only exception is something like what I've been working on which involves a canyon XD, I really dont want to go through this crap again.

K it is definitly ready now. I had to drastically change the surroundings so if you're dissapointed in the backround I can't blame ya, I was.  But the bridge and everything eles looks sweet I just played around in it and noticed a few texture bugs so i had to go back and fix them but its compiling again as I type this. YAY and yes it is de_SuicideBridge because that is what will happen to a lot of people fo sho.

K so the map debuted last night and obviously theres some bugs here and there.  I made a few changes this morning and set it to render.  I'll Upload the new one today during lunch.  I've done some test layouts and stuff for VisBlockers (stuff that blocks you from seeing so far, and with that map its just not going to work due to requirements of having a bridge over a massive open area.  So I don't think that maps gonna make it unless more people have leet pc's.

  Next map I make is gonna be more of indoor type and I think I got some good ideas so expect something a little more playable and with more in it cuz I had to take out quite a great deal of detail just to get that monster to compile.
